Thermal ozone destruction technology

Exhaust gases from processes where ozone has been used invariably contain residual amounts of un-reacted ozone. Before this exhaust can be vented to atmosphere it is necessary to decompose any trace amounts of ozone. In most countries it is illegal to reject ozone into the atmosphere.

Process vent gases from are routed from the ozone contacting system to the RB vent ozone destruct unit. In the reaction chamber the gases are heated which radically reduces the half-life of ozone which reduces the ozone concentration in the gas stream well below the recognized safety limit of <0.1 ppm.
