How it Works

How do Aquasource systems work?

The operation of Aquasource systems is fully autonomous and automated. The raw water is first prefiltered. It is then pumped at a low pressure (< 0.3 bar) into ultrafiltration modules (In/ Out). The membrane acts as a filter for particles larger than 0.02 μm. The system alternates sequences of filtration and backwashing resulting in a stable and long-lasting operational life. Aquasource® has developped processes based on mechanical backwashing during the production phase, with no added chemical reagents. Depending on the client requirements and raw water quality, additional cleaning products can be added (acid, base or chlorine).
